She Loves Me
Musical
Book by Joe Masteroff
Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick
Music by Jerry Bock
Based on Parfumerie by Miklos Laszlo
This blockbuster multiple award-winning musical is considered the most charming musical ever written. With a book by Cabaret's Joe Masteroff, and music and lyrics by the team that brought us Fiddler on the Roof and Fiorello!, She Loves Me is an enchanting love story. Georg and Amalia are two coworkers who bicker constantly but anonymously write each other through a Lonely Hearts column, and ultimately fall in love. With 25 show-stopper songs, She Loves Me is, as Frank Rich of The New York Times said, "... a continuously melodic evening of sheer enchantment and complete escape" and is, as TheaterMania writes, "... impossible not to love."
Play #2
January 4, 2009 - February 8, 2009
Frost/Nixon
Drama
By Peter Morgan
In the twilight of his political career after he had been forced from the presidency, Richard Nixon agreed to a four-part television interview with British talk show host and playboy, David Frost. In this attempt to rehabilitate his reputation, the once-powerful Nixon relinquished full editorial control to Frost in what became the most-watched with the largest audience program in history. The explosive and first-rate Frost/Nixon takes us back to 1977. Will the pugnacious Nixon reveal his demons to his equally aggressive prosecutor David Frost in this potent war of wits? Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award-winning drama. "RIVETING" (Washington Post). THRILLER-LIKE" (Variety). "BEST PLAY" (TheaterMania). "BRISKLY ENTERTAINING" (New York Times). "EXTRAORDINARY" (Evening Standard.)

Something's Afoot
Murder Mystery Musical
Book, Music & Lyrics by James McDonald,
Additional Music by Ed Linderman
In the mood for a mega-musical comedy mystery? This audience fave murder musical mystery is set in the late spring of 1935 at an English country estate. It's a dark and stormy night, and the 10 guests of Lord Dudley Rancour discover upon their arrival that not only is the host dead, but so is his butler. A parody based on Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians" (the 1939 novel also known as "And Then There Were None,") Something's Afoot will keep you on the edge of your seat as the determined guests unmask the murderer among them. "The audience adored the show," New York Times. "An engaging, funny, refreshing and original musical," New York Post, and the New York Daily News wrote that Something's Afoot is "an enchanting spoof." The Stage (UK) review by Jane McKell said Something's Afoot "is a finely paced comedy" with "cannily created characters."
