CHICAGO, THE BOOK OF MORMON, GHOST and More Set for Broward Center's 2013-14 Broadway Season

Broadway Across America - Fort Lauderdale has announced their subscription series presented by Florida Theatrical Association in partnership with the Broward Center for the Performing Arts sponsored by Bank of America.

From the creators of South Park and winner of nine Tony Awards, The Book of Mormon will play a limited three-week engagement November 26-December 22, 2013. Season Subscribers receive priority ticket opportunities to shows so a season subscription is the only way to guarantee seats to The Book of Mormon.

Launching the season October 9 through October 20 will be the winner of 6 Tony Awards, Chicago, Bob Fosse,/John Kander/Fred Ebb's "All That Jazz" ode to the prohibition era of the 20's. Kicking off the New Year is Andrew Lloyd Webber's new production of The Wizard of Oz, arriving January 7 -19. Memphis, the soaring Tony Award-winning Best Musical about the underground world of dance clubs in 1950s Memphis, Tennessee, takes the Broward Center stage from February 25 - March 9. American Idiot, the Tony Award-winning punk rock musical fueled by Green Day's Grammy Award- winning album is set for March 25 - April 6, with GHOST The Musical, based on the Oscar-winning movie plays April 29 - May 11 bringing an emotionally-packed wind-up to the spectacular musical season.

THE WIZARD OF OZ

GHOST The Musical
April 29 - May 11, 2014

Trapped between two worlds, Sam refuses to leave Molly when he learns she is in grave danger. Desperate to communicate with her, he turns to a storefront psychic who helps him protect Molly and avenge his death.
