The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) will return to Atlanta, Georgia this summer to host the third annual Broadway Boot Camp.  The goal of the not for profit organization is to brighten the future of financially challenged young performers by offering an intensive week-long Broadway training program.

Through a series of workshops and training sessions taught by esteemed Broadway professionals, Broadway Boot Camp students will receive intense vocal coaching and dance instruction and will learn acting and audition techniques all in a fun-filled, challenging summer camp environment.  Filled with priceless industry information and valuable tips such as resume formatting, college advice and how to take the perfect headshot – Broadway Boot Camp culminates in a final concert presentation entitled "Oh, What a Night."  Featuring BDF faculty and participants, the event is a unique musical review of beloved Broadway showstoppers.

This year's faculty is comprised of current Broadway stars, casting directors and the most sought-after dance and vocal coaches in the industry who will all instruct for the camp's entirety.  The roster of Broadway stars includes Shoshana Bean (Wicked, Hairspray), Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel (Thoroughly Modern Millie, La Cage aux Folles), past BDF scholarship winner Blake Daniel (Spring Awakening), Jennie Ford (Hairspray, All Shook Up), Norm Lewis (The Little Mermaid, Les Miserables), two-time Tony Award nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent, Les Miserables) and Amanda Watkins (Sweet Charity, Beauty and the Beast).

This year's attendee's will also benefit from instruction and advice by three-time Tony Award winning composer Adam Guettel (The Light in the Piazza), renowned NYC musical director and vocal coach Michael Lavine, talent agent Jamie Harris (Clear Talent Group) and casting director David Petro (Altar Boyz, Dreamgirls, Spelling Bee, currently Nickelodeon music programming). Leading this year's band will once again be composer and foundation musical director Jeremy Schonfeld.  His soon to be released new album "37 Notebooks" features Broadway stars Adam Pascal, Tracie Thoms, Lauren Kennedy, Jarrod Emick, Shoshana Bean and a choir of past Broadway Boot Camp participants.  A percentage of proceeds from sales of the album will benefit the Broadway Dreams Foundation.
