Bay Street Players will hold auditions for 'GI Holiday Jukebox,' a musical by Rick Lewis, on September 20 and 21 at 7:30pm. Auditions will be held at the historic State Theatre at 109 N. Bay Street in Eustis. Artistic Director, David Clevinger, and Musical Director, Don Hopkinson, are looking for two men and two women ages 20-40 capable of strong four-part harmony. Newcomers are welcome. Those auditioning are requested, but not required, to prepare a musical selection, preferably in the style of the production, and to bring sheet music in their key. In addition, some may be asked to read selections from the script. Anyone not interested in performing onstage is invited to join our team of volunteers and to learn of backstage opportunities needed for this production.

'GI Holiday Jukebox' is a salute to the Stage Door Canteen during WWII. This Holiday Revue features four fictitious Hollywood stars who have put together a string of 1940s hits and holiday music to entertain "the boys" at the front. Filled with great standards, holiday music and comedy, this musical is holiday in both spirit and song. 'GI Holiday Jukebox' will run November 19 through December 12.

This production is generously sponsored by Waterman Village. Please contact the theatre at (352) 357-7777 or visit the web site at www.baystreetplayers.org for directions or for further information.

Bay Street Players is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit community theatre celebrating 35 seasons of live theatre in the historic 1922 State Theatre in downtown Eustis.
