Bay Street Players will hold auditions for Terrance McNally's The Ritz on Monday, February 7th and Tuesday, February 8th at 7:30PM at 109 N. Bay Street, Eustis. No appointment is necessary. This farce is set in a men's Manhattan bathhouse where an unsuspecting businessman has taken refuge from his homicidal mobster brother-in-law and stumbles across an assortment of oddball characters. Confusion and complications multiply.

Artistic Director David Clevinger is looking for 3 females: Googie Gomez - 30's with sensational figure. Italian/Puerto Rican look (think Rita Moreno & Rosie Perez); Vivian Proclo - Early 40's and stout; Maurine - Mid 40's and thin. Mr. Clevinger is looking for 13 male actors in all shapes, sizes and ages with an Italian look for many of the characters. Anyone not interested in performing on stage is invited to join our team of volunteers and to learn of backstage opportunities needed for this production.

The Ritz is generously sponsored in part by United Southern Bank, United Arts of Central Florida, and the City of Eustis. Please contact the theatre at (352) 357-7777 or visit the web site at www.baystreetplayers.org for directions or for further information.
