Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre continues its milestone 30th Anniversary Season with the Tony Award-winning hit comedy Noises Off by Michael Frayn, playing January 17 - February 4, 2018.

Called the "funniest play written in my lifetime" by former New York Times critic Frank Rich, Noises Off is a dexterously realized comedy about putting on a comedy. A rollicking backstage farce about a second-rate theatrical troupe, the play combines slapstick, a British sex comedy, and non-stop hilarity from a manic menagerie of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called "Nothing On". Doors slamming, on and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this uproarious and classically comic play.

In the first act of Noises Off, Opening Night is just hours away, and the hapless cast of "Nothing On" struggles to complete a dress rehearsal of their ill-fated play. The audience is then transported backstage as the set revolves and reveals a cast on the verge of disaster, as trysts and betrayals send the production into chaos. The final act returns to the company for their final performance. With lines being forgotten, love triangles unraveling and sardines flying everywhere, it is complete pandemonium.

The cast will feature Actors' Playhouse favorites Gary Marachek (All The Way, Monty Python's SPAMALOT, The Big Bang) Annette Miller (August: Osage County, Martha Mitchell Calling), Terry Hardcastle (White Christmas, Comic Potential), Lindsey Corey (Monty Python's SPAMALOT, Sondheim on Sondheim), Daniel Capote (Finding Mona Lisa), Betsy Graver (The Fox on the Fairway), Jeni Hacker (It Shoulda Been You, Miracle on South Division Street), Peter Haig (All The Way, Carousel) and Mark Della Ventura (Ragtime).

The design and creative team for Noises Off includes Direction by David Arisco, Scenic Design by Tim Bennett, Lighting Design by Eric Nelson, Sound Design by Shaun Mitchell, Costume Design by Ellis Tillman and Properties/Set Dressing Design by Jodi Dellaventura.

Preview performances will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, January 17 and 18 at 8 p.m. The show will open on Friday, January 19 at 8 p.m. and play through February 4, 2018. Evening performances will be held Wednesday through Saturday at 8 p.m., with afternoon matinees on Sunday at 3 p.m. A special weekday matinee is scheduled on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 2 p.m.

Director David Arisco will lead a group discussion with the cast following the performance on January 26, 2018 as part of the company's "Second Fridays" series.

Preview night tickets on the first Wednesday and Thursday are $40. Tickets for weeknights and matinees are $57, and on Friday and Saturday evenings $64.
