The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County announced its 2011-2012 Box Office Opening, with more than 20 jazz, Broadway, theater, dance, classical music and pops concert performances going on sale for the first time to the general public, beginning at 12 noon on Sunday, September 18, 2011. Plus, FOR ONE DAY ONLY, all handling fees will be waived in celebration of the box office opening event, which features the first opportunity to buy single tickets to world-class performers and award-winning shows slated for the Arsht Center's 11-12 season, including Shrek the Musical, Twyla Tharp's Come Fly Away, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Pilobolus Dance Theatre, Jazz Meets Gershwin, Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Sergio Mendes and many more. 

2011-2012 Box Office Opening - NOON - 6 PM

The Adrienne Arsht Center box office in the Sanford and Dolores Ziff Ballet Opera House will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, September 18, 2011. Prizes, gifts with purchase, special offers and more will be available when purchasing tickets in person. Plus, Miami's best food trucks will gather at the Adrienne Arsht Center once again and guests are invited to enjoy their delicious offerings in the Ziff Ballet Opera House lobby. Tickets may also be purchased by calling (305) 949-6722 , or online at www.arshtcenter.org.  

All single tickets purchased on September 18 between 12 noon and 6 p.m. - whether online, in person or by phone - will not be subject to handling fees.
