Barbara Ligeti and Wishing Well Productions by special arrangement with The Cherry Lane Theatre will present the world premiere production of Frank Strausser's PSYCHO THERAPY – a new play about couples therapy…for three. Directed by Alex Lippard, preview performances of PSYCHO THERAPY begin January 19 prior to an official press opening of January 29 at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) in Manhattan.

Lily's fiancée Phillip blows off couples therapy and Dorian, her hot young ex-boyfriend, jumps in to fill the void. When the trio ends up on the couch together, only therapist Nancy Winston can untangle the kinks. Frank Strausser's insanely entertaining new comedy opens the door to a new option - couples therapy for three.

Directed by Alex Lippard, the cast of PSYCHO THERAPY includes Angelica Page, Jan Leslie Harding, Laurence Lau and Jeffrey Carlson.

Joe Montello Off Broadway and Madison Square Garden; THE RADIANT world premiere. Over 20 features including the Oscar nominated films "Nobody's Fool," "The Contender," "The Sixth Sense." She is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio and serves on its board of directors. Ms. Page is currently producing the first documentary about her legendary mother, Geraldine Page.

Obie Award winner Jan Leslie Harding was last seen on Broadway in Julie Taymore's THE GREEN BIRD. Her Off Broadway credits include SINCERITY FOREVER (Obie Award), A LIE OF THE MIND, DEFYING GRAVITY, ALBUM, KILLER JOE, etc. She has been featured in many Mac Wellman and Richard Foreman productions. Most notably in THE LAND OF FOG AND WHISTLES at the Whitney Museum of American Art, THE BIRTH OF A POET at the BAM Next Wave Festival and THE BROTHERS KARAMAZOV with EnGarde Arts. Leslie is a member of the Ensemble Studio Theatre and a founding member of the Flea Theatre in Manhattan.

Laurence Lau's many credits include ARRIVALS (Bank Street Theatre), SPINE (Barrow Group), THE EXONERATED (Culture Project), THE GOAT…(Vienna English Theatre – European premiere), GOD OF CARNAGE (Virginia Stage Company), BECKY'S NEW CAR (Theatre Aspen), SCITUATE (Barrow Group), and the first national tour of AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY. He has appeared in many daytime dramas, including "All My Children" (Greg Nelson); "Another World" (Dr. Jamie Frame); "One Life to Live" (Sam Rappaport), and "As the World Turns" (Brian Wheatley).

Jeffrey Carlson was last seen on Broadway in TABOO (Drama Desk Award nomination), his other Broadway credits are: Edward Albee's THE GOAT, OR WHO IS SYLVIA? and the 2003 revival of TARTUFFE. He played HAMLET, directed by Michael Kahn, at Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC and most recently appeared in Sara Ruhl's STAGE KISS at the Goodman in Chicago.

Frank Strausser is based in Los Angeles and is a writer of plays, screenplays and novels. Psycho Therapy has had New York workshops and "developmental" productions Off Broadway and in London's West End. It is also being developed as a feature film. His first produced play, The Powder Room, starred Academy Award™ Best Actress nominee Sally Kirkland in a Los Angeles production. His second play, The Split, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and is slated to have its US premiere in 2012. His third play, Valentine Triage will have an Off Broadway run in early 2013. He has adapted his novel Plastic as a motion picture. Strausser studied theatrical writing in the late Milton Katselas' Master Class at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.

Barbara Ligeti's credits include the Broadway productions of HURLYBURLY, Ma Rainey'S BLACK BOTTOM, and NIGHT MOTHER. Off-Broadway and regionally, her credits include: HURLYBURLY starring Sean Penn and Danny Aiello, GOOSE AND TOMTOM with Sean Penn and Madonna, HAVANA IS WAITING, SAINT LUCY'S EYES starring Ruby Dee, 60 MINUTES IN NEGROLAND, and HARRIET AND PHYLLIS starring Margo Jefferson, and Francesca Harper; With Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner post 9/11 rant RENO; REBEL WITHOUT A PAUSE, and most recently MADE IN HEAVEN at the Soho Playhouse. Ms. Ligeti managed and produced Eric Bogosian and Eduardo Machado, and was producer/board member of VETCO (Vietnam Veteran's Ensemble Theatre Company). She served for years on the NY State and City Film Television and Theatre Advisory Boards. Her film producing credits include: Joe Minion's "Motorama," Robert Downey's "Hugo Pool," Jack Palance in "Ebenezer," "Tiara Tango," "Forever Fabulous," "Dear America, Letters Home from Vietnam" and Angelica and Tony Torn's "Lucky Days." Barbara is currently based in LA where she is on the board of Daniel Henning and Noah Wyle's Blank Theatre COMPANY Hollywood's only regional theatre.

Performances of PSYCHO THERAPY begin January 19 and runs through February 25 on a schedule of Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00pm; Saturdays at 3:00pm and 8:00pm and Sundays at 3:00pm and 7:00pm.
