Obie Award-winner Eve Ensler's whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone, The Vagina Monologues introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have found a man who "liked to look at it."

THE DUMB SHOW's final performance before it is retired! THE DUMB SHOW is a hilarious and irreverent take on the world, starting with a simple audience suggestion, after which Hawk and Wayne create a series of characters and scenes that showcase the best and worst of humanity, and will have you laughing and shaking your head in wonder at the same time.

A COUPLE OF BLAGUARDS
"After Hours" Series
Aug. 24 thru 29

American Stage Theatre Company continues its "After Hours" series with the return of Frank and Malachy McCourt's comedy, A COUPLE OF BLAGUARDS, running Aug. 24 thru 29. This triumphant return engagement will once again star patron favorite Howard Platt and newcomer Jarlath Conroy.

Written by Frank McCourt, who is best known for his novel "Angela's Ashes," and Malachy McCourt, A COUPLE OF BLAGUARDS tells the brother's tales of boyhood in Limerick and early adulthood as immigrants in New York. While pathos lurks beneath the humorous observations of behavior under the pressure of poverty, bigotry and adversity, the chief intent of the stories of childhood privation, escape and adult misadventure is simply to laugh at life's absurdities.
Performances and ticket prices are as follows:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening curtain is at 7:30pm
Friday and Saturday evening curtain is at 8pm
Saturday and Sunday matinee curtain is at 3pm
Tickets prices are $24
