"Using a show's preview performance as a fundraiser for a valuable cause or organization is a tradition for MNM Productions," says co-producer Lifshitz. "Previous beneficiaries include Communities in Schools and car crash victim Adam Hewko for HAIR, and the Metropolitan Community Church of the Palm Beaches for The World Goes 'Round."
"For the preview performance for Monty Python's SPAMALOT, we were very happy to partner with AJFCS, which has worked for more than 40 years in the Palm Beaches to provide a wide range of services designed to strengthen individuals, families, and the community," adds co-producer Gorman-Althof. "While primarily a Jewish organization, its mission is to address the community wherever needs are required, regardless of religion."
"We are particularly pleased that more than 250 people attended the preview performance of SPAMALOT, and their enthusiastic reaction throughout the show and the long, loud standing ovation at the end showed how much they loved the show," says Lifshitz.
