A beloved Agatha Christie murder mystery will keep you on the edge of your seat at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre.

Just in time for Halloween, Agatha Christie: THE MOUSETRAP will thrill theatregoers with its tale of a group of strangers stranded at a boarding house during a snowstorm. The plot thickens as the stranded travelers discover that a murderer is in their midst. So who is the next victim? Will the murderer be unmasked in time to stop more deaths?

Onstage October 25 to November 8, this masterful whodunit weaves an intricate plot filled with nerve-rattling suspense, all leading up to the ultimate final twist! The world's longest-running play will leave you guessing until the very end.

"Agatha Christie: THE MOUSETRAP is a delightfully clever mystery that has been thrilling theatregoers for more than six decades, and we are truly excited about producing the show here in Jupiter," said Andrew Kato, the Theatre's producing artistic director. "The identity of the killer is a legendary secret of the play and, famously, all audiences must take a pledge not to reveal 'whodunit.' It's the ultimate murder mystery."

Playing in London since 1952, Agatha Christie:THE MOUSETRAP boasts more than 26,000 performances and has become the longest-running show in recorded history. The Maltz Jupiter Theatre's production will kick off the Theatre's 2015/16 season, Another Opn'in', Another Show. Join in the fun and see why Agatha Christie:THE MOUSETRAP has enjoyed such unparalleled international success.

"This play is such a success that it has become a London institution -- a phenomenon that can only be explained by the fact that it's a really good play," said Peter Amster, the director of Agatha Christie:THE MOUSETRAP. "Its structure is sturdy. The characters are a satisfying combination of recognizable and complex, each carrying some hidden secret. The escalation of danger and suspense is meticulously plotted. And the twist ending is a true surprise

A prominent leader in the theater world, Amster has directed and choreographed productions for professional theatres and opera companies across the nation (including the Theatre's production of Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps in 2011). Currently the Artistic Associate at the Asolo Repertory Theatre, he received Joseph Jefferson Award nominations for his direction of four productions in the Chicago area prior to relocating to Florida. He has taught theatre, opera and performance studies at Northwestern University, CalArts, Louisiana State University, Columbia College and Roosevelt University.

An ensemble piece, the show features a cast of eight professional actors, five of whom are celebrated Florida performers (Katherine Amadeo, Barbara Bradshaw, Michael Edwards, Richard Iverson and Roland Rusinek) as well as three renowned actors from Los Angeles and Chicago (Christian Pedersen, Eric Parks and Gail Rastorfer).

Both 2015/16 season tickets and single tickets are currently on sale. Season tickets begin at $198, with two convenient purchasing options: the four-play and the five-play.
