Actors' Playhouse
performs
at MetroBoo at MetroZoo
for the wildest
Trick-or-Treat in Town.
On Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30 from 12-1pm, Actors' Playhouse Musical Theatre for Young Audiences will be at MetroBoo at MetroZoo performing songs and scenes from Alexander, Who's Not Not Not Not Not Not Going to Move! and The Musical Miracles will be performing selections from the hit Broadway musical "Wicked."
For two days, the zoo takes on a Halloween and fall theme that's fun for both the young and old. Plenty of activities are available for the kids, including games, face painting, costume contests and trick-or-treating, and live on stage, Actors' Playhouse.
Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre is dedicated to entertaining and culturally enriching South Florida audiences by producing quality live theatre and through educational outreach programs. The Musical Miracles are the pinnacle of their educational programming. The goal of these talented young performers, under the direction of Earl Maulding, is to continue to
strive for performance excellence by studying and practicing their craft and then to share their unique gifts with the community around them. The group has performed at The Dade County Youth Fair, the Miami Book Fair International and the City of Miami Programs for Person's with Disabilities Annual Talent Show to name a few. They are honored and excited to be performing once again this year at MetroBoo at MetroZoo.
Come join them as they present scenes from their current children's show Alexander, Who's Not Not Not Not Not Not Going to Move! In this hilarious sequel to Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, Alexander has really bad news —his dad has taken a job in a new city a thousand miles away! Even though his mom says, "Wait, you'll like it," Alexander already knows that he'll hate it and so he has decided that he won't move. Now Alexander must figure out HOW he's not going to move. Will his family be able to convince him that home is "where your family is, where you're with the people who love you best of all," or will Alexander really "Not Not Not Not Not Not" move? Alexander is on stage at the Miracle Theatre now through November 5.
