Actors' Playhouse At The Miracle Theatre Announces 2018 – 2019 Mainstage Season  Image

Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre is proud to announce the five stellar Mainstage productions secured for its 2018 - 2019 Mainstage Season. Selections include the World Premiere production of Havana Music Hall (October 10 - November 18, 2018), the hilarious comedy One Man, Two Guvnors (January 23 - February 10, 2019), the four-time Tony Award-winning musical Memphis (March 13 - April 7, 2019), the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play Doubt (May 15 - June 9, 2019) and the zany musical comedy Murder For Two (July 17 - August 11, 2019).

"We are absolutely thrilled to announce our 2018 - 2019 Season of exciting, funny, moving, stimulating and thought-provoking theatrical offerings," said Actors' Playhouse Executive Producing Director Barbara S. Stein. "Kicking off the season in October will be a world premiere musical production on its way to Broadway. Keeping our subscription rates favorably low without increases in the past two years is a bonus reason to become a members of Actors' Playhouse in the new season."

Season subscriptions for the 2018 - 2019 Mainstage Season are on sale now with prices from $185 for preview performances, $245 for Wednesday or Thursday evenings or Sunday matinees, $282 for Friday or Saturday evenings, and $285 for VIP Flexible/Anytime tickets for premium seats to any performance. Opening Night Subscriptions, which include invitations to the Gala Opening Night celebrations, are $400. Miracle Maker donor subscriptions, including two tickets to the Gala Opening Night celebrations, donor acknowledgement and invitations to special events including the annual Reach For The Stars Gala Auction are $1,500. Subscriptions for children 18 years and younger with a full paid adult subscription, and college students, are $141 (restrictions apply). All prices include handling charges and fees.

This brand new musical was selected specifically by our artistic team to develop in Miami on its way to Broadway. An exciting world premiere, Havana Music Hall reflects the pulse of our community with its irresistible musical beat and heartwarming story centering on Cuban musicians Rolando and Ramona Calderon, and their lives in Cuba from 1958 to the present. Just as their local Havana band is about to get its big break, the Revolution tears apart the only world the duo have ever known. This moving and relevant new musical explores the challenges and joys of one family's 50-year odyssey for survival, presenting a journey which immigrants of all cultures from around the world have traveled for generations.

A zany madcap musical mystery, this 90-minute whodunit is a highly theatrical duet loaded with killer laughs.
