SIGN LANGUAGE AND A LIFE WITHOUT HEARING

JOIN SEX AND LOVE ON STAGE AT NEW THEATRE

Two young women meet in the streets of Paris: one is hearing: the other, hard of hearing. As the relationship grows, everything they thought they knew is changed – themselves, their language, their loved ones, and the world around them. Using spoken English and American Sign Language, Fill Our Mouths is a story of love and choices, sex and gender, deafness and hearing, the trials of communication, and the search for self when caught between two worlds.

Acclaimed director Gail Garrisan directs the cast which includes New Theatre veterans Caroline Edelen, Lela Elam and Brandon Morris; and making their New Theatre debut are Kim Ehly and Katherine Michelle Tanner.

Returning to New Theatre are Production Stage Manager Betsy Paull-Rick, Lighting Designer Micheal Foster, Sound Designer M. Anthony Reimer, Costume Designer K. Blair Brown, Scenic Designer Rob Eastman Mullins and the scenic construction crew, TLC Events Group.
