"Pickers" like Frank Fritz are on a mission to recycle America, even if it means diving into countless piles of grimy junk or getting chased off a gun-wielding homeowner's land. Hitting back roads from coast to coast, pickers earn a living by restoring forgotten relics to their former glory, transforming one person's trash into another's treasure. American Pickers follows Frank and Mike Wolfe as they scour the country for hidden gems in junkyards, basements, garages and barns, meeting quirky characters and hearing their amazing stories. If you think the antique business is all about upscale boutiques and buttoned-up dealers, the wildly successful show on the History Channel may change your mind--and teach you a thing or two about American history along the way.

Now the hit show, American Pickers, comes to life with a unique, fast-paced and highly interactive event! As audience members enter the theater, they will be handed a raffle ticket. Within the 90-minute show, numbers will be drawn and the audience members holding the matching numbers will have an opportunity to appear on stage with show stars Frank Fritz and Danielle Colby. Once there, the selected audience members will choose from a category of items similar to those that The Pickers find on their show (i.e. signs, toys, oil cans, bikes, furniture, motorcycles, etc.) Images of two items will pop up on a big screen after the category is selected. Each of the images will have a value known only to Frank and Danielle. The selected audience member then has the job of "picking" which item is a "treasure" and which is "trash"! See how much you know about what you may have in your attic, basement or garage!

The event will also contain video clips and outtakes from the show, discussion of their "picks" and their travels all over America! The event will be followed by an opportunity for the audience to meet Frank and Danielle, purchase merchandise from the TV show and autograph signing sessions.

Frank Fritz
Frank started picking early; collecting rocks and beer cans as a kid. He worked for many years as a fire and safety inspector but always had a passion for antiques, junk and anything with an engine. These days, he spends most of his time on the road, digging for treasure in barns, garages and junkyards across America.

Even-tempered and affable, he has a way with potential sellers and a knack for putting out fires: Mike calls him the bearded charmer. Frank does get a little carried away, however, by anything with an engine, and often has to be talked out of buying yet another motorbike for his collection!
With their complementary personalities and shared love of picking, Frank, Mike and Danielle make the perfect team.

Danielle Colby
While the guys are out picking, Danielle holds down the fort at Antique Archaeology. She spends her time talking to buyers, packing up shipments and keeping Mike and Frank in line, while they keep her in stitches with their antics and jokes. Mike likes to say she's the glue that holds them all together.
A mother of three, Danielle is always working on a new creative project, whether it's painting, designing clothes or selling vintage-inspired gifts online. She feels extremely proud of the "boys" and fortunate to work with such a talented pair.
