The Playgroup, LLC is proud to present the second production of its third season at the Willow Theatre at Sugar Sand Park in Boca Raton, ALL TOGETHER NOW, written by Philip Middleton Williams and directed by Joyce Sweeney.

All Together Now won First Place in our Annual Full Length Play Contest last year and the board unanimously chose it for production. Synopsis of the play It's Paul's 40th birthday. What do you give the man who has everything? Paul has a loving partner, a great career, and supportive parents. But when the fifteen - year - old son he never knew comes knocking at the door, it's time to reevaluate everything. Paul loves his life the way it is... is there really room for something more?

Philip Middleton Williams ' first play, " The Hunter, " was produced in 1977. This was followed by " Dark Twist, " " The Purer, Brighter Years, " " Here's Hoping, " " Can't Live Without You, " " Ask Me Anything, " " Last Exit, " " A Life Enriching Community, " and " Which Way To The Beach. " " A Moment of Clarity " was a finalist in the City Theatre National Award for Short Playwriting in 2017. His doctoral thesis, " A Comfortable House, " on the collaboration of playwright Lanford Wilson and director Marshall W. Mason was published in 1993. He has been a participant and scholar at the William Inge Theatre Festival since 1991. He is a member of The Dramatists Guild. Founded in 2010, The Playgroup is committed to showcasing the work of local artists, playwrights, directors and actors. We only produce original plays by local playwrights and in addition to our three productions per year, we also hold monthly playwrights ' workshops at the Glades Road Branch Library in Boca Raton, Florida where playwrights can develop their projects and network with local actors and directors. Productions of this canon include : LITTLE PIGGIES, SURFING THE RUBICON, and BROKEN ANGELS by Todd Caster, JOSEPH ANDREWS by Peter Hawkins, THE MONSTER PROJECT by Brian Harris, THE LAST OF THE AZTECS and BETTER THAN MONEY by Joe Feinstein, SCENES FROM A CHINESE RESTAURANT by Tom Andrew, and SHORTCUTS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.
