FIU THEATRE, in conjunction with the ROXY PERFORMING ARTS GROUP,
presents Shakespeare's most loved comedy, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
July 27th – 30th. Directed by Phillip M. Church, this production
features an excellent cast of actors in a fresh interpretation of
Shakespeare's classic. The show will be presented for four
performances at the Roxy Performing Arts Center, Theatre 4 in
University Plaza, 1645 SW 107th Avenue, directly across from FIU's
University Park Campus. Showtimes are 8:00pm Thursday through
Saturday, and 2:00pm on Sunday. Tickets are $10.00 for General
Admission and $8.00 for FIU Students.

THE STORY: Plagued by unforeseen natural disasters the world reels
in chaotic turmoil. Two pairs of beleaguered lovers become bound
beneath the spell of confused identities, and while these
unsuspecting mortals wrestle against the forces of nature, a
dedicated band of construction workers doggedly continue to rehearse
a little-known Greek drama as their way of offering cultural payback
to their employers. This exhilarating approach to Shakespeare's best
loved comedy is filled with magic and charm and is guaranteed to
offer a perfect midsummer night at the theatre for all the family!
