TheAtlantic Theater/> brings back Charles Dickens' classic holiday tale, "A Christmas Carol". Ebeneezer Scrooge learns the meaning of Christmas after four ghosts guide him through his emotionally charged past, loveless present, and his bleak future.The vision of his own realization that no one will mourn his death forces Scrooge out of his "Bah Humbug" ways and gives him a renewed outlook towards humanity.
This will mark the third year in a row that the theater has presented "A Christmas Carol" as the play opened the inaugural season in 2003 and has been a hit with audiences ever since. This year's rendition contains spirited dance numbers presented by The Atlantic Arts/> Dance Company highlighting the various ghosts haunted by Scrooge in his dreams.
Appearing as Ebeneezer Scrooge will be Frank Licari/>, a stage veteran of the New York/>/> theater scene for over 10 years, and a former member of the Obie award winning Blue Man Group.The professional adult cast is composed of the Atlantic Theater/>'s performance company, along with the Atlantic Arts/> Acting Company, appearing as the children in the play.
The show dates are December 10th and 11th and 16th through the 18th at the Atlantic Theater/>, with Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm/> and Sundays at 2pm./> Tickets for the show will be $18 for adults, $15 for Seniors, and $7 for students and children.
