Russian State Ballet Mari El: Carmen Y El Bolero De Ravel at Teatro Diana

The Russian State Ballet, considered one of the best dance groups in the new generation of Russian ballet. It is led by former soloist of the Bolshoi Ballet, international jury, teacher and artistic director Konstantin Ivanov. He has performed in Mexico five times and has been nominated three times for the prize of the Lunas del Auditorio, the high technical and artistic level that characterizes each of his extraordinary performances.

The ballet Carmen was written for Maya Plisetskaya, the legendary Russian ballerina. Its world premiere took place on April 20, 1967 at the Bolshoi Theatre. In this production, in 1969, he became the director Vadim Derbenev a movie, prevailing passion and not without eroticism. The consequence of this production was the rejection of the Soviet leadership, subjecting the presentation of this title under the headband of "censored".

The premiere of the ballet Bolero (Ravel) was held in 1928 at the Grand Opera in Paris. The configuration of the choreographer Igor Markov has a storyline: Two lovers are in a club, where they want to test their feelings. Obsessed with rhythm, decoration and modern choreography, black and white costumes, stunning set of light, excellent ballet company and emotional form of images, all this keeps the viewer in a constant voltage.
