World Wonders at Playhouse on the Square

A cultural fusion of some of the world’s most creative music, art and dance in four dazzling works from lauded young choreographers Matthew Neenan, Gabrielle Lamb and Rafael Ferreras. Featuring performers from Hattiloo Theatre and the hottest local jookin' talent.

From Gabrielle comes Manifold the Grand Prize Winner in the Genesis International Choreographic Competition hosted by Milwaukee Ballet in February 2013. From Matthew comes Water of the Flowery Mill, inspired by the Arshile Gorky painting of the same name. A first mainstage appearance from dancer Rafael Ferreras will combine the classic with the modern and promises to bring the stage to life with special guests from Hattiloo Theatre and the Memphis jookin' community. Rounding our round-the-world tour will be a command peformance of Bournonville's Napoli that we performed in Japan this past summer.
