PlaySlam! Festival - Middle School celebrates the creativity of young playwrights, showcasing the top scripts from aspiring writers in the Mid-South. The event features staged readings of the finalists' works, culminating in a performance of the winner's script, produced with professional actors. This year's theme, Empathy in Action, encourages students to explore and express understanding and connection through their writing. The festival will take place at Playhouse on the Square on March 22, 2025.
