ONE MAN's CHRISTMAS CAROL with Marques Brown at Germantown Community Theatre

GCT Executive Director Marques Brown, known locally as a theatre professional, educator, and special needs advocate, is back again with his Ostrander nominated original adaptation, for only two performances!

It wouldn't feel like Christmas without the Charles Dickens classic tale of Ebeneezer Scrooge, whether playing it's fully realized Theatre Memphis production, or various film adaptations on every channel starring Oscar winners, cartoons, and even Muppets! Inspired by this timeless and utterly relatable story of redemption; Marques Brown presents a new perspective on this familiar story, portraying every memorable character. Audiences brought their entire families in 2022 & 2023, riveted by his heartfelt, humorous and humble portrayal for the hour and 15 minute production.

Marques also created the Full spectrum Theatre Initiative- a program GCT has been so proud to incorporate with interactive workshops that harness the imagination and voice thru theatrical play and guaranteed Sensory Friendly performances of every season show including minor adjustments in light and sound effects, judgement free safe space & even sign language to ensure EVERY citizen has the right to experience live theatre on or off stage.
