One of the most respected comedians in the country, Brian Regan is a legendary performer selling out theaters from coast to coast and earning praise from the press, the public, and fellow comedians:
“He is one of my favorite, favorite stand-up comedians.” - Jerry Seinfeld
“Honestly, Brian Regan’s the best stand-up working today. Period.” – Patton Oswalt
“You’re the guy people look up to…Brian Regan’s the funniest guy…there’s Brian Regan and then there’s other people.” – Marc Maron
I'll take all of that guy you got...Very funny man" – David Letterman
With his first appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman in 1995, Regan solidified his place on the show and recently made his 26th appearance, the most of any comedian on the CBS show.
Since his beginnings in comedy, riding Greyhound buses from comedy club to comedy club, Regan always brought new material when returning to a city; and the fans would return again and again to see what new insights Regan would uncover. It is this prolific ability that has grown Regan’s fan base in to a non-stop theater tour visiting close to 100 cities each year since 2005 and continuing through 2014.
Regan occasionally ventures off the stand-up stage; he recently appeared in Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, will be seen in the upcoming Chris Rock movie Finally Famous and voiced the character of Weib Lunk for the 40th episode of The Looney Tunes Show titled Spread Those Wings and Fly, but his main focus is stand-up comedy. In fact, last August, Regan sold out the legendary, 8600-seat Red Rocks Amphitheater outside of Denver, and in February ‘14, Regan performed two sold-out shows at the 12,500-seat Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City.
Regan’s two hour-long TV specials, two CD’s and three DVD’s have set a standard of excellence: All By Myself (2010), is available on CD and download only through his website; his two hour-long Comedy Central specials, The Epitome of Hyperbole (2008), and Brian Regan Standing Up (2007) are available on DVD, and on Netflix; I Walked on the Moon (2004) is available on DVD through his website and Brian Regan Live (1997) is available on CD.
