Eleemosynary by Lee Blessing will run July 15- July 31, 2011 at POTS@TheWorks Series at TheatreWorks.

This touching, sensitive story examines the lives of three generations of extraordinary women. As precocious Echo single-handedly dominates a national spelling contest, her estranged mother Artie and eccentric grandmother Dorothea must join with her in coming to terms with their mutual need and somehow summon the courage to build a life together.

Eleemosynary is directed by Anne Marie Caskey (Artistic Director, Hutchison School Theatre) and features local actor Karen Mason Riss, Leah Bray Nichols (August: Osage County), and Olivia Wingate (August: Osage County).

Eleemosynary runs at TheatreWorks July 15th - July 31st, Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. The Pay-What-You-Can performance is Thursday, July 21st.
