Theatre Memphis is set to offer a variety of classes starting in September

KidsWagon: The Adventures of Robin Hood
KidsWagon classes focus on allowing young actors to participate in all areas of putting together a production, from acting on stage to design elements like costumes and lighting. Our first KidsWagon production of the 2011-2012 season is Robin Hood-featuring the world's most famous outlaw, his band of Merry Men, Maid Marian, Prince John, the Sheriff of Nottingham, among others.
Grades K-6
Instructor: Stephen Garrett
September 10, 2011-October 22, 2011 1pm-4pm
This class only meets on Saturdays
Price: $160
Basic Acting
For beginning to intermediate actors, this class focuses on the fundamentals of script analysis and character development.
Instructor: Josie Helming
Ages 16+
September 10-October 29, 10am-12pm
Class meets Saturdays
Price: $150
Swing Dancing for Fun and Fitness
This class will focus on three main dances of the Jazz era-East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, and Charleston. Experience the fun of Swing while dancing off those calories, and learn where you can go in the community to continue this heart-healthy habit! Feel free to take this class alone or with a partner.
Instructor: Meghan Lisi
September 13-November 15, 5:45pm to 6:45pm
This class only meets on Tuesdays
Price: $150 for one person, $200 per couple

Musical Theatre Dance Styles: FOSSE
Participants will sharpen their jazz skills by practicing the kind of jazz dancing that made Chicago, Pippin, and Sweet Charity Broadway hits.
Instructor: Cathy Caradine
September 15-November 17, 5:45pm-6:45pm
This class only meets on Thursdays
Price: $100
