WHAT: Breakfast at Tiffany's, the 1961 romantic comedy film starring Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard and featuring Patricia Neal and Mickey Rooney, will open The Orpheum's 2011 Summer Movie Series. The movie event will include a trivia contest, a mini organ concert on The Orpheum's Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, and a vintage film short. Ladies are encouraged to wear their best little black dress and pearls for The Orpheum's Annual Little Black Dress Parade.

BACKGOUND: Struggling writer Paul Varjak (George Peppard) moves into a New York apartment building and becomes intrigued by his pretty, quirky neighbor Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn). Holly's lifestyle confuses and fascinates Paul; in public she flits through parties with a sexy, sophisticated air, but when they're alone she changes into a sweetly vulnerable bundle of neuroses.
