BACKGROUND: Fed up with her dishonest boss, Jorge (Kevin Bacon), hairstylist Gina Norris (Queen Latifah) decides to set up her own beauty shop in this all-star comedy that includes appearances by Djimon Hounsou, Mena Suvari, Andie MacDowell and Alfre Woodard. Taking over a run-down Atlanta salon complete with sassy stylists and quirky clientele, Gina and her shampoo girl (Alicia Silverstone) create fabulous looks -- and give Jorge a run for his money.
This film is rated PG-13 on appeal for sexual material, language and brief drug references.
