Playhouse on the Square, in partnership with super sponsor Dr. Thomas Ratliff, is proud to present the musical adaptation of an American masterpiece.
The March sisters come to life on stage in the musical version of Louisa May Alcott's beloved novel, Little Women, following the adventures of sisters Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy March. Set against the backdrop of the Civil War, Jo weaves her story, and those of her sisters, as they embark on journeys of self-discovery, hope, heartache, and everlasting love.
Resident Company Member, Brooke Papritz (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Fun Home) appears as Jo. Resident Company Member Carla McDonald (Fun Home, Bridges of Madison County) returns to The Circuit Playhouse as Marmie. Joining them, are Associate Company Members Kristin Doty (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) as Meg, Kelly McCarty (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) as Amy, and Danny Crowe (Heathers, Perfect Arrangement) as Professor Baer. The production is directed by Associate Producer and Ostrander Award winner, Dave Landis (Fun Home, Perfect Arrangement, Shakespeare in Love).
