Germantown Community Theatre has announced the slate of productions for their 2016-2017 season. This marks the 45th season of shows the theatre has produced from their home in Germantown, TN.
The season blends music, theatre for youth, classic literature and raucous fun. Titles include Neil Simon's THE ODD COUPLE, a concert version of Sondheim's SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET and Tennessee Williams' THE GLASS MENAGERIE.
Memberships for the season range from $60 to $200 and are on sale through the GCT box office at (901) 453-7447. The 2016-2017 season of Germantown Community Theatre is sponsored by the City of Germantown, Tennessee Arts Commission, ArtsMemphis, and the GCT Trust.

Late to arrive is Felix Unger who has just been separated from his wife. Fastidious and depressed, Felix seems suicidal, but as the action unfolds Oscar becomes the one with murder on his mind when the clean-freak and the slob ultimately decide to room together with hilarious results as The Odd Couple is born.

Germantown Community Theatre is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization set in a 112-seat theatre located at 3037 Forest Hill-Irene Rd.
