Playhouse on the Square to Present THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW

A satirical tribute to the science fiction and B-list horror movies of the 20th century, the show centers around two naïve lovers, Brad and Janet, who seek shelter from a thunderstorm in an old castle. They find themselves thrust into the laboratory of the cross-dressing mad scientist Dr. Frank 'N' Furter and his motley crew. Stripped of their inhibitions - and their clothes - Brad and Janet embark on a wild, unforgettable journey of pleasure and self-discovery. Featuring such fun and well known songs such as "The Time Warp." "Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me," and "Sweet Transvestite," reality, fiction, and camp collide in this mash up of comics, rock and roll, and late-night horror flicks.

The Rocky Horror Show is directed by Scott Ferguson (Spamalot; Xanadu). Jerre Dye (Angels in America; Present Laughter) leads this cast of kooky characters as Frank 'N' Furter. Playhouse on the Square Resident Company Member Jordan Nichols (Mary Poppins; Hairspray) plays Brad and Leah Beth Bolton (Gypsy) is Janet. Bill Andrews (Peter Pan) returns to the Playhouse stage as the Narrator, Associate Company Members Devin Altizer (One Man, Two Guvnors; Mary Poppins) as Riff Raff, Katie Hahn (The Fantasticks; Peter Pan) is Columbia, and Resident Company Member Morgan Howard (Peter Pan; Les Miserables) is Magenta.

The Rocky Horror Show runs January 23 - February 15 at Playhouse on the Square and is sponsored by tamburrino, inc., Tower Ventures, and 1910 Frame Works.
