Xanadu is set to run June 29 – July 22 at Playhouse on the Square.
Based on the cult film, a Greek muse descends from the heavens to 1980s Venice Beach, California to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to create the greatest entertainment achievement- a Roller Disco! The muse falls in love with the mortal, and her jealous sisters plot to bring them down. An electrifying musical tale about following your dreams with chart-topping tunes.
Xanadu is directed by Scott Ferguson (Pippin) and features Nicole Renee Hale (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and Corbin Williams (Next to Normal), with Company Members Carla McDonald, Courtney Oliver, Claire D. Kolheim, and Sarah Hoch. The cast also includes Kent Fleshman, Jared Johnson, and StanDrew Parker (Present Laughter).
