Playhouse on the Square is proud to announce our 25th anniversary production of the beloved classic Peter Pan! Wendy, Michael, and John Darling are in for the adventure of their lives when Peter Pan comes swooping into their nursery one seemingly average night. Featuring songs such as "I Gotta Crow" and "I'm Flying," this timeless tale of fun, adventure, and of course, never growing up is the perfect holiday treat for audiences of all ages.
Reprising their roles as Peter Pan and Captain Hook are Associate Company Member Brooke Papritz (King Charles III; Mamma Mia!) and Resident Company Member Michael Detroit (All the Way; Billy Elliot). The roles of Peter Pan and Captain Hook are shared with Caroline Simpson (Mamma Mia!; Sister Act) and Jarrad Baker (Memphis; American Idiot). Associate Company Member Kathryn Kilger (Sisters of Swing; Mamma Mia!) is Wendy Darling. Children from various schools and homeschoolers are portraying the roles of Michael and John Darling as well as The Lost Boys. Weekday student matinees are available for both schools and homeschools. For more information, contact Box Office Manager Amy Harwell at (901) 725-0776.
The New Year's Eve 2pm matinee performance of Peter Pan on December 31st will be a special family performance featuring an early evening ball drop and pictures with Peter, Wendy, Captain Hook and the rest of the cast of characters from Neverland.
