One of the most critically acclaimed plays in Broadway history, August: Osage County is a portrait of the dysfunctional American family at its finest - and absolute worst. When the patriarch of the Weston clan disappears, the family reunites at the Oklahoma homestead where long-held secrets are unflinchingly and uproariously revealed. The New York Times declares that this "fiercely funny, turbo-charged tragicomedy is, flat-out, no asterisks and without qualifications, the most exciting new American play in years." Winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and five 2008 Tony Awards.

August: Osage County is directed by Robert H. Satterlee (Frost/Nixon) and features an all-star cast including Jim Palmer (The Seafarer), Irene Crist (Arsenic and Old Lace), Kim Justis Eikner (Ostrander winner: The Rabbit Hole), Leah Bray Nichols, Resident Company Members Laura Stracko, Michael Detroit, Dave Landis, and Michael Gravois, Carla Olivar (Associate Company), Ed Porter, Sam Weakley, Ann Marie Hall, and newcomer Olivia Wingate.

August: Osage County closes at Playhouse on the Square  April 3.  The Pay-What-You-Can performance is Thursday, March 17th. Playhouse on the Square is located at 66 S. Cooper in Midtown.
