Germantown Community Theatre invites MidSouth families to gather and enjoy this 1940's style radio play presented live on the GCT stage. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the cast of MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET below!
Complete with onstage sound effects and Hollywood starlets, MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET is the classic tale we all remember. A department store Santa claims to be the real Kris Kringle. When the matter gets all the way to the New York Supreme Court, the belief of one little girl could be the thing that saves Santa!
GCT is proud to partner with Chatterbox Audio Theater for MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET. Chatterbox has generously provided some sound effects props as well as served in an advisory capacity so every sound effect made at our very own foley table is authentic to the original radio play as it was produced for Lux Radio Theater on CBS in 1947.MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET: A LIVE RADIO PLAY runs December 4 - 20, 2015. Based on a story by Valentine Davies, the GCT production is directed by Brian and Rachael Everson. Show Times: Fridays & Saturdays @ 8:00 pm; Sundays at 2:30 pm. Tickets: $24 for adults; $17 for seniors and students; $12 for children 12 and under and Germantown Municipal School District Students.
