In THE COUNTRY HOUSE, what The New York Times calls "a valentine to the artists of the stage," a group of famous and would-be-famous creative artists have come to their summer home during the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The weekend takes an unexpected turn, and everyone is forced to come to terms with the roles they play in each other's lives. Scroll down for a first look at The Circuit Playhouse's production below!
Leading the family as matriarch Anna Patterson is Playhouse on the Square Resident Company Member, Irene Crist (All The Way; Tribes). She is joined by an extremely strong ensemble cast made up of Playhouse on the Square Resident Company Members Michael Gravois (The Other Place; Grace) as Elliot Cooper, Kim Sanders (All The Way; The Other Place) as Nell McNally, Associate Company Member Brooke Papritz (Peter Pan; American Idiot) as Susie Keegan, Barclay Roberts (Tribes; Gypsy) as Walter Keegan, and John Moore (All The Way; From Up Here) as Michael Astor. THE COUNTRY HOUSE is directed by Playhouse on the Square Resident Company Member Dave Landis (The Other Place; Tribes).
Also on the production team are: Stage Manager - Lexi Lehberg; Set Designer - Phillip Hughen; Costume Designer - Caleb Blackwell; Lighting Designer - Zo Haynes; Technical Director - Phillip Hughen; and Props Master - Kellie Bowles.
THE COUNTRY HOUSE runs now through May 15th, 2016 at The Circuit Playhouse. The Pay-What-You-Can Performance is Thursday, April 28th at 8pm. The Circuit Playhouse is located at 51 S.
