On Saturday, August 20th at 6:00 p.m., The Orpheum Theatre invites everyone to dine on the stage where the stars perform for a special evening of behind the scenes stories and history of The Orpheum as told by Pat Halloran, Orpheum President and CEO.

The Orpheum’s Dinner on Stage will include a cocktail reception, a tour of The Theatre and the rarely seen backstage area, a brief film in the auditorium about The Orpheum's history, a three course meal prepared by Harrah’s Tunica with wine, an intriguing Broadway trivia contest, and a candid Q&A session with Halloran.

The Orpheum’s Dinner on Stage is sponsored in part by Harrah’s Tunica. Tickets are $75 per person or $550 for a table of 8 and are available in advance at The Orpheum Box Office or by calling 525-3000. This event is limited to 90 guests.

Guests of Dinner on Stage will also be able to get an exclusive sneak peek of the art showcased in The Orpheum’s 17th Annual Art Auction, featuring Memphis artists, which will take place the next day, Sunday August 21st at 2:00 p.m.  Patrons will have the opportunity to pre-bid on art and stake their claim in advance for Sunday.

The 17th Annual Art Auction will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday with a viewing of the art and a silent auction. The live auction will begin at 3:00 p.m. The event is free admission.

The Orpheum Theatre’s Annual Art Auction celebrates and promotes local Memphis artists who, each year, contribute a wide variety of media and an even broader array of styles. This year’s featured lineup of artists includes Donna Blackard, Michael P. Maness, Betsy Bird, and more. 75% of the auction’s proceeds go directly to the artists and the remaining 25% fund The Orpheum’s Education programs and also the maintenance and preservation of The Theatre.
