On Saturday, November 7th at 6:30 PM the Orpheum Theatre will host its 37th Annual Auction. This special event is the Orpheum's largest fundraiser of the year with an anticipated 800 guests and over 400 amazing items up for bid. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Halloran Centre for Performing Arts & Education, which officially opened to the public last Wednesday. This year's auction also marks the 35th anniversary of retiring President and CEO, Pat Halloran.

"I was hired to lead the Orpheum in November of 1980, and over the past three decades the Annual Auction is one of the few things that has remained a time-honored tradition," says Halloran. "It's exciting and fitting that my last auction as President also promises to be our biggest and best event yet!"

The 37th Annual Auction will begin with an online auction, opening Monday, October 19th at auction.orpheum-memphis.com and will culminate on Saturday, November 7th at 6:30 PM with a silent and live auction at the Orpheum Theatre. Guests will enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvre buffets, an open bar and hundreds of items on which to bid. Some of the exciting items in this year's auction include Vegas, NASCAR, and entertainment packages, and a 2015 Nissan Rogue SV.

In addition to the auction festivities, the Orpheum will host a live drawing at the event for its Annual Raffle: a 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Coupe. Raffle tickets are $100 per entry, and are available for purchase now through the drawing on the night of the Auction. Entrants do not have to be present to win. For a complete list of Raffle rules and regulations, visit www.orpheum-memphis.com/raffle.
