The Orpheum Theatre Group is proud to present Soiree in the Spotlight: The Orpheum Auction Reimagined on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 6:30pm. This year's signature event has been expanded to include exciting live entertainment and festivities in both the Orpheum Theatre and the Halloran Centre. Tickets are on sale now for this annual fundraiser that supports the Orpheum's community and education programs serving 50,000 students, teachers, and families annually.

"This year's event is like nothing we've done before," said Brett Batterson, President & CEO of the Orpheum Theatre Group. "With live music on two stages and new features like a dance floor, the Mednikow Boutique, and more, we're looking forward to treating our guests to a memorable evening."

Soiree in the Spotlight kicked off with an online auction now through Sunday, November 5 featuring experiences like the FedEx St. Jude Classic, hotel stays, photography packages, show tickets and more at vip.orpheum-memphis.com. The auction season will culminate on Saturday, November 11th at 6:30pm with a silent and live auction at the Orpheum Theatre.

The evening will begin with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at the Halloran Centre. Entertainment on the Halloran Centre plaza will be provided by local music staple, Memphis Jones. The party will then move into the Orpheum Theatre, where guests will enjoy delicious food, an open bar, and will have the opportunity to bid on hundreds of items in the silent and live auctions. Grab a signature drink featuring Old Dominick Distillery and dance the night away on the Orpheum stage thanks to live music provided by The Stranger - A Tribute to Billy Joel.

Some of the exciting items in this year's auction include a week's stay at the fabulous 4 bed/3 bath La Casa Montana in Whitefish, MT, the chance to join Orpheum President & CEO Brett Batterson in New York City to experience what it is like to be a Tony voter for a day, a dream wedding package for 75 at the famed Peabody Hotel, the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a 2018 Memphis Redbirds Game, a weeklong stay in Blue Mountain Beach on 30A, and a brand-new Honda.

The evening will also include a special shopping experience by Mednikow Jewelers. In the Orpheum lobby, Mednikow will be selling pieces from David Yurman, John Hardy, Elizabeth Locke, Freida Rothman, Bremont and Hermes watches and more with 100% of the sales price coming back to the Orpheum Theatre Group.

In addition to the auction festivities, the Orpheum will host a live drawing at the event for its annual raffle. This year's grand prize is a 1970 Mercury Cougar. Raffle tickets are $100 per entry, and are available for purchase now. Entrants do not have to be present to win. For a complete list of raffle rules and regulations, please visit orpheum-memphis.com/raffle. The convertible is currently housed in the lobby of the Orpheum Theatre and will remain there throughout Soiree in the Spotlight.

Admission to Soiree in the Spotlight is $125 per person. Tickets for both the event and the raffle are on sale now and available for purchase online at the official Orpheum Theatre website, www.orpheum-memphis.com or call Shasta Blue at 901.529.4230. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
