In celebration of the next month's Broadway sensation Million Dollar Quartet, The Orpheum Theatre is hosting a ticket giveaway for the chance to see the Tony Award-winning production live on The Orpheum stage.
In conjunction with The Orpheum's recently announced Memphis Music Passport, the ticket giveaway encourages patrons to experience Memphis music history while also competing for the opportunity to relive rock 'n' roll's greatest jam session with theMillion Dollar Quartet at The Orpheum Theatre in February.
To claim prize, entrants must present their passport with at least one stamp from any of the participating attractions including: Graceland, Stax Museum of American Soul Music, Sun Studio, the Rock 'N' Soul Museum, Beale Street, The National Civil Rights Museum, Backbeat Tours and The Orpheum Theatre.
Those interested in entering the giveaway should submit a photo of themselves holding their stamped passport page tosocialmedia@orpheum-memphis.com with "Passport to MDQ" in the subject line. Limit one entry per person. The contest ends January 30th, 2012 at noon. The winner will be selected at random and announced on the official Orpheum Theatre website and Facebook page and will receive the following:
· 2 Tickets to opening night of Million Dollar Quartet February 14th
· 2 Tickets to the VIP cast party at Sun Studio following the show
The Memphis Music Passport is an interactive guide to the many area attractions that celebrate the history of Memphis music. The program encourages native Memphians and visitors alike to discover the magic of the many historical and musical treasures the city has to offer. Passports are free of charge and may be picked up at The Orpheum Theatre, the Booksellers at Laurelwood, and any of the participating attractions.
