Joe Gulla's "Make Scents, Inc." will have its World Premiere at the Emerald Theatre Company's 2017 Festival in Memphis, Tennessee today, September 8th.

Written by Gulla and directed by Marcus Santi, "Make Scents, Inc." stars Joe Prestigiacomo, Charlee Graham, Maria Khaled and Josiah Brown.

"Make Scents, Inc." tells the story of Buddy, a (very heterosexual!) scrap metal worker and his attempt to become the nation's newest and hottest gay spokesmodel! This could be a game changer for Buddy, but is he prepared to trade his Levi's for Dolce and Gabbana?

Gulla says of his play, "It's kind of a mix between 'America's Top Model' and 'Star Search'... with a grease monkey dollop of 'Duck Dynasty'!"

Joe Gulla won the 2017 Downtown Urban Arts Festival "Audience Award" for the performance of his play "GARBO" at NYC's Cherry Lane Theater. This past July, he returned to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater for a sold out performance of his award-winning solo show, "Faggy at 50"!

What's next for Joe? Later this year, "GAY.PORN.MAFIA", a collection of his award-winning, nationally produced plays, will have its premiere in New York City. "GAY.PORN.MAFIA" is directed by Brian Rardin.
