The Halloran Centre at the Orpheum presents American Made Movie on Wednesday, March 9th at 7:00 PM as part of the Southern Circuit Independent Film Series. Whether consumer or business owner, audiences will discover their role in developing the domestic manufacturing industry.
This compelling new documentary explores the impact of American manufacturing on both ordinary citizens and the national economy. Through the stories of innovative entrepreneurs and businesses who are making things in the USA while successfully competing in the global economy, the film examines both the positive ripple effect that comes from domestic manufacturing jobs and the hurdles we'll need to overcome to start bringing them back. Filmmaker Vincent Vittorio will be on site to conduct a special post-film Q&A.
Ticket prices are $10 for general admission. Tickets are on sale now and available for purchase online at the official Orpheum Theatre website, www.orpheum-memphis.com, The Orpheum Box Office (901.525.3000), the ticket counter at The Booksellers at Laurelwood, and all Ticketmaster centers (901.743.ARTS). Special group rates are also available by contacting Lauren Steinkamp at 901.529.4226 or Steinkamp@orpheum-memphis.com.
