Grace is a tragicomedy that explores human assumptions about how God, goodness, faith and causality operate in the cosmic machinery. Steve and Sara, a devout Christian couple, move to Florida to pursue Steve's dream of opening a chain of gospel-themed motels. They're waiting for a crucial loan to arrive, and though it's been several months, Steve has faith that it will work out. Meanwhile, Sara strikes up an unlikely friendship with Sam, a cantankerous, reclusive neighbor who has been injured in a car accident. As Steve's plans go awry and his beliefs are challenged by an opinionated exterminator, he must decide if faith is truly enough or if he needs to take more drastic measures.
Grace is directed by Teddy Eck and features Playhouse on the Square Resident Company Members Christopher Joel Onken (Other Desert Cities; Red) and Morgan Howard (Almost, Maine) with John Maness (Clybourne Park; Race) and Jim Palmer (August: Osage County).
