Deathtrap by Ira Levin will run tonight, June 7 - June 30, 2013 at The Circuit Playhouse.
Sidney Bruhl is a once successful Broadway writer who would kill to be back at the top of his game. He's struggling to overcome a dry spell that's left him with a string of failures and a shortage of funds when he receives a script from one of his students that has potential to be a huge hit. Sidney and his wife convince the young man to collaborate and he eagerly accepts. Part thriller and part clever comedy, Deathtrap is filled with major plot twists that keep audiences guessing until the final startling moments of the play.
Deathtrap is directed by Dave Landis and features Resident Company Members David P. Foster, Carla McDonald, and Irene Crist with S. A. Weakley. Associate Company Member Christopher Joel Onken makes his Circuit Playhouse debut.
Deathtrap runs tonight, June 7 - June 30 at The Circuit Playhouse Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. The Pay What You Can performance is Thursday, June 13 at 8pm. The Circuit Playhouse is located at 51 S. Cooper Street. For more information or to make reservations, please call 901-726-4656 or purchase tickets online at playhouseonthesquare.org.
