This raucous musical comedy inspired by the 1936 film of the same name is a tongue-in-cheek look at the horrors of marijuana. Clean-cut kids Jimmy and Mary are lured to the Reefer Den, given pot, and become fiends who descend into a world filled with evil jazz music, sex, and violence. Can anything rescue them from the insidious spell of The Green Misery?! Their fates unfold in a variety of musical styles in the show Entertainment Weekly called "aggressively silly" and "a great deal of fun."

Reefer Madness is directed by Dave Landis and features Resident Company Member David Foster (Santaland Diaries). Corbin Williams (Xanadu) stars as Jimmy Harper alongside Playhouse on the Square Associate Company Members Charity Ruth Haskins, Morgan Howard, Richie MacLeod, Kent Reynolds, Caroline Simpson, and Adam Woodruff.

Reefer Madness runs October 11 - October 27 at The Circuit Playhouse. The Pay What You Can performance is Thursday, October 17 at 8pm. The Circuit Playhouse is located at 51 S. Cooper Street.
