"I hope to see a lot of our movie fans escape the Memphis heat and join us inside the historic Orpheum Theatre this summer," said Brett Batterson, President & CEO of the Orpheum Theatre Group. "This year's series has something for everyone including classics, movies you can sing to, and films for the whole family to enjoy."
Doors open an hour before show-time. Patrons can arrive early to grab a themed drink special, test their movie trivia knowledge, take a picture at the photo booth, and enjoy the sounds of the Mighty Wurlitzer organ. Costumes are always encouraged but never required.
Tickets for the Orpheum's 2017 Summer Movie Series go on sale Friday, May 5. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. Packages of 10 tickets are available for $60 and may be used for a single movie or spread throughout the series.
Tickets will be available at www.orpheum-memphis.com and the Orpheum Box Office (901.525.3000). Parties of 10 or more can enjoy special rates to create the perfect outing for groups, clubs, employees, and summer camps. Contact groups@orpheum-memphis.com or 901.529.4226 for all group inquiries.
