During the time between the two world wars, Miss Jean Brodie is a teacher at a girls’ school, who instructs her students in the areas of love, politics and art. She is so intensely interesting that the girls admire her above all else, but when her amorous affairs become known, she finds herself fighting against dismissal. One of her favored pupils begins to think that Miss Brodie is no longer in her prime and turns on her, learning her own lessons on life and love in the process.
