Humor and hurt are dished out in equal measure at Thanksgiving dinner in this Tony Award-winning one-act play. After a sleepless night, Erik Blake brings his family from Pennsylvania to celebrate Thanksgiving at his daughter's new apartment in Lower Manhattan. As darkness falls outside the crumbling pre-war duplex, mysterious things start to go bump in the night and family tensions reach a boiling point.The Humans is a recent Best Play Tony Award winner, and MAS is proud to provide its Maine premiere.The cast is made up of Bart Shattuck, Jeralyn Shattuck, Katie Glessner, Danielle Bannister, Rob Bywater and Christine West.The production is directed by Erik Perkins with Cassidy Small stage managing. The production crew consists of set designer Greg Marsanskis, lighting designer Dave Fournier, set dresser Cassidy Small, and props master Zachary Hewins. Kelly Hewins is producer.
