Meet the cast of Smokey Joe's Christopher Young:
Christopher is a Pennsylvania native and is excited to be making his debut with Patrick Dorow Productions. He was most recently seen at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Guys and Dolls directed by Tony Winner Mary Zimmerman and Head Over Heels(World Premier)
Other theatres: Larry in A Chorus Line, Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show (York Little Theater); Benjamin Coffin III in Rent (Capitol Performing Artis Center); Tommy Djilas in The Music Man; Mingo in Crazy for You; Ben Rogers in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Meet the cast of Smokey Joe's: Quinton Menedez
Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Quinton Menendez developed a love for music early on,
studying theater and drama at Norcross High School. Inspiring him to later attended Marymount
Manhattan College in New York, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre. There
he had the opportunity to perform in new musical works by composers such as Charles Strouse
and Larry Grossman. Menendez's career started to gather steam with a plethora of well-reviewed
performances at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. In Smokey Joe's Café, Quinton was part of a cast that
"makes this show so very much more special than it has any right to be." He continued to
entertain audiences with an epic run at the theater, performing in classic shows like State Fair and Copacabana.
Most recently, Quinton delighted thousands of passengers as the lead vocalist aboard the
Carnival Cruise Lines’ ship Carnival Conquest. The four fast-moving and ever-changing
performances would be a challenge for any entertainer, but Quinton and the cast brought down
the house with each performance in several genres, ranging from classic rock to Latin to diva
pop. Perhaps most notably taking on the classic Queen epic "Bohemian Rhapsody." Quinton is
currently on land in New York City, always looking for a new and exciting opportunity to win
the hearts audiences.
Meet the cast of Smokey Joe's - Loretta Chandler:
Loretta Marie Chandler is best known for her honest portrayal of 'Dusty Tyler' on the innovative television series "Fame". You may also recognize her from guest appearances on a Movie of the Week called "Give Me My Child" staring Valerie Bertenelii, or from "A Different World. Loretta has been featured in numerous national tours, plays and musicals, such as "Dream Girls" where she gave a dynamic powerful performance as Effie and earned a Drama-Logue Award for outstanding performance in this lead role. She’s also stared in The Gospel Truth", "Hunger Pains” “Wait Until Dark", "Brigadoon", "Out Of The Frying Pan" and "Harlem Suite" where a special solo featured spot was created for her by the director and co-writers, Maurice Hines and Jennifer Holiday. She has also been featured as the lead soloist with the Philharmonic Orchestra in Los Angeles.
Loretta started singing in her hometown of Pueblo, CO with her family's gospel group, known as "The Chandler Family", when we were younger, we were called the "Chandleretts", 'says Loretta.' "Mom and Dad, Rev. F. L. Chandler and Mrs. Rosetta Chandler always encourage each of us to do our best with the gift God gave us." Loretta, Cloretta, her sister and brothers, David and James have been performing since she was six years old. Loretta says, "It is real special when we sing together, but time has not permitted us to perform as much as we would like to."
After starting a gospel program at the University of Southern Colorado, Loretta decided to transfer to California's Institute of the arts private college just outside Los Angeles, CA. There she founded and directed the Cal Arts Gospel Extravaganza and was looking into recording an album with a group when she decided to join some of her friends at an open call audition for "Fame". This is where she got her big break, thanks to the support of the legendary Debbie Allen.
Most recently, Loretta has found great joy in giving back to an industry that had given her so much. She passes along her many years of experience and training to those who have a serious desire to be the best in their field. Loretta's company, LMC Production is one of the most innovative ‘entertainment training platforms available in Atlanta Georgia.

Merrill is a veteran of the Seacoast theatre scene, she has performed with Patrick Dorow since they were youngins! Past credits include: Broadway tour of Mamma Mia!, Acid Queen in The Who's Tommy, and Miss Hannigan in Annie. Merrill is always happy to perform with PDP!! Meet the cast of Smokey Joe's - Amitria Fanae':
Amitria is a native of Miami, Fl. and a graduate of Alabama State University - Montgomery, AL. While there she majored in Theatre and minored in Radio/ TV Communications. Some of her Theatre Credits include; Ain't Misbehavin' (Charliene), Color Purple (Celie), Shrek The Musical (Dragon), Hair (Mary), King Richard III (Queen Margaret), Bat Boy (Ruthie), Crowns (Mother Shaw), The Wiz (Dorothy), Dream Girls (Lorell), A Christmas Story The Musical (Ensemble), Regrets (Mrs.Duke).
