Presented by the Ogunquit Playhouse Children's Theatre Teen Players:
The spirit of rock ‘n’ roll is alive and well in this electrifying brand new musical based on the popular Paramount film written by Mike White and starring Jack Black, and the current Broadway musical produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star, decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school, however instead of teaching he turns his class into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. Featuring a sensational live all-kid rock band playing fourteen new songs composed by Webber, along with all the original songs from the hit movie, it is a loving testimony to the transforming power of music.
