Maine State Music Theatre (MSMT) in Brunswick and Portland Stage (PS) in Portland, Maine present The All Night Strut! August 15 to September 10, 2017.
Swing's the thing in this classy, sassy musical celebration of the 1930s and '40s. From the funky jive of Harlem to the sophisticated elegance of El Morocco and the romance of the Stage Door Canteen, The All Night Strut! offers an evening filled with jazz, blues, bebop and classic songs.
This international hit has delighted audiences old and young with its sublime music and sheer energy with songs including "Minnie The Moocher," "In The Mood," "Crazy Rhythm," "Hit That Jive, Jack," I'll Be Seeing You," "It Don't Mean a Thing if it Ain't Got That Swing," and "As Time Goes By."
The cast is comprised of four actors: Esther Stilwell, Curt Dale Clark, Missy Dowse, and Bryant Martin. The show is directed by Buddy Reeder and musical director is Edward Reichert.

Esther Stilwell starred in Maine State Music Theatre's Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (where she fell in love with the star of said show whilst playing his wife onstage). She was a swing in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert at the Palace on Broadway, Lady of the Lake in the 1st National Tour of Monty Python's Spamalot, and Grizabella in the 25th Anniversary Tour of Cats.
Curt Dale Clark is Artistic Director of Maine State Music Theatre and has appeared on the Pickard stage in Les Misérables, Beauty and the Beast, Drowsy Chaperone; The Producers, Jesus Christ Superstar, Legally Blonde, and The Music Man. He won a Broadway World Award for Vocal Performance for his role in The Irish and How They Got That Way, last year's co-production with Portland Stage and MSMT.
Missy Dowse was last seen at Maine State Music Theatre as Inga in Young Frankenstein. She has starred in the national tour of Gypsy and as Machiavelli in The Battles. Her regional theatre credits include the East Coast premiere of Summer of Love at Ogunquit Playhouse, Ulla in The Producers at Fulton Theatre, and many others. She was featured on the television series SMASH.
Bryant Martin has been seen in the television series Quantico and in regional productions including The Last Ship at Pioneer Theatre Company, Phantom at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Oklahoma! at Musical Theatre West and Lyric Stage, 1776 also at Lyric, and Sedition at the Westport Country Playhouse.
